Dopa Mucuna originates from velvet bean, a tropical legume found primarily in India, Africa, and the Caribbean. Dopa Mucuna is considered to be an aphrodisiac and neural enhancer because it contains L-DOPA, the precursor to the neurotransmitter dopamine. Dopamine regulates numerous functions, such as memory, cognitive function, mood, sleep, and sexual desire.

Dopa Mucuna from NOW provides 800mg of superior quality velvet bean extract that’s standardized to contain 15% L-DOPA, or 120mg per serving.
