Leave it to Rich Piana to come up with an outstanding pump formula. Of course, he was known for innovative supplements. When Rich started 5% Nutrition, he started it with several ground-breaking products. He believed in real food before supplements, so one of his first products was called just that, Real Food. This is currently called Real Carbs. Now, of course, there is also Real Carbs + Protein. 

 

Rich was not a believer in whey protein powder, so any protein sources used in any 5% products had to come from real food. That’s what you will find in such products as Real Carbs + Protein and Shake Time. Of course, the new 5% Egg White Crystals are real eggs, and you can cook them up just like real eggs. 

 

So when Rich came up with a pump enhancer, he didn’t just throw together a few nitric oxide boosting ingredients. He combined cell volumizers and nitric oxide boosters to create a state-of-the-art pump formula. Then, he overdosed it and categorized it with his pre-workouts, especially the insane high-stim 5150. What Is 5% Nutrition Full As F*ck?

It’s no surprise that Rich Piana created a formula like this. After all, his entire training approach was pump-based. During the later stage of his life, he advocated moderate weight, higher reps, and higher volume. He trained to get “Full As F*ck”. 

 

5% Nutrition Full As F*k is a stim-free “pump” pre-workout powder. It’s meant to promote maximum pumps and road-map vascularity. As noted, it accomplishes this by combining nitric oxide boosters and cell volumizers. The latest version of this formula contains vitamins and electrolyte minerals plus 7 pump ingredients. It’s all tied together with Bioperine® Black Pepper for optimal absorption. 

 

The pump-boosting supplement category has been around since 2002. That’s when the original NO2 came to the market. It changed the industry and now everybody has a pump formula. L-Citrulline – 5,000 mg – Notice this is pure citrulline, not diluted citrulline malate. This ingredient has become more popular than L-Arginine, which was the original nitric oxide–boosting ingredient found in NO2. So what does citrulline do? Once in the body, it converts to arginine. Yet it absorbs much better than arginine does. It literally does a better job of being arginine than arginine itself does. Additionally, citrulline improves endurance because of its role in the Krebs Cycle energy system. This is the energy system that’s responsible for the body’s production of ATP. (1)

 

L-Taurine – 2,000 mg – You will often see taurine listed as an amino acid. Technically, it is an amino sulfonic acid. It’s depleted during intense workouts. It, therefore, needs to be replaced through diet and supplements. Taurine is in a wide range of products due to its cognitive benefits. It’s also an osmolyte, which means it pulls water into your muscles. (2)

 

GlycerSize™ (65% Glycerol Powder) – 2,000 mg – This used to be called GlycerPump. It’s one of the highest-rated glycerol powders currently on the market.
