What Is MTS Nutrition Barracuda?

MTS Nutrition Barracuda is a natural testosterone and libido enhancer that features well-dosed, clinically researched ingredients clearly listed on the label – no prop blends here! It comes in powder form, giving you a delicious drink rather than having to force down 3-6 large pills.

About MTS Nutrition

MTS Nutrition was founded in 2011 and is owned by Marc Lobliner. His goal was to create a company that took pride in product quality as well as products that gave the results users were looking for. MTS Nutrition products are research-dosed and use only full disclosure labeling. You will not see MTS Nutrition using underdosed proprietary blends. This way, you know exactly what you’re putting in your body.

Let’s Look At The Ingredients

30 Servings per Container / Serving Size – 1 Scoop

D-Aspartic Acid – 3,000 mg

D-Aspartic Acid (also known as DAA) is 1 of 2 naturally occurring forms of the non-essential amino acid Aspartic Acid. The other form is L-Aspartic Acid. The L-form is a proteinogenic amino acid, meaning it helps build protein. DAA is not involved in the creation of protein.

DAA is heavily involved in the production of a number of male sex hormones. These hormones include follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), and growth hormone (GH). Increased production of these hormones supports increased production of testosterone.

The standout study that was conducted on D-Aspartic Acid was a 12 day study using 23 human test subjects. The researchers gave the test subjects a daily dose of 3,120 mg. The results of the study indicated an impressive 42% increase in test subject testosterone levels. (1, 2)

L-Carnitine L-Tartrate – 3,000 mg

Carnitine is typically used for its fat burning benefits. It’s important to note, however, that there are different forms of carnitine and each one has different benefits beyond fat loss support. L-Carnitine L-Tartrate (LCLT) is a very bioavailable form of carnitine that also supports testosterone production. In fact, LCLT increases androgen receptor density which in turn allows testosterone to function at greater efficiency. (3, 4)

MacaPure™ Maca Extract – 300 mg

This is a branded, standardized maca root extract manufactured by Givaudan (formerly Naturex). It contains 0.60% of the active compounds macamides and macaenes that come from Peruvian-grown maca roots. Maca has been used in traditional Peruvian medicine for hundreds of years and is a powerful botanical that has been shown to increase sexual desire. In addition, maca acts as an adaptogen, fighting stress that can derail your natural production of testosterone. (5)

Safed Musli Extract (std.min.50% Saponins) – 250 mg

This is another popular adaptogenic herb that has an extended history of use as an aphrodisiac. It supports an ideal hormonal environment for optimizing the body’s natural testosterone production because as an adaptogen, it helps reduce cortisol and ease stress. In addition, it helps boost libido and enhance sexual performance. Finally, it may also improve erectile function. (6, 7)

Eurycoma Longifolia extract (4:1) – 200 mg

A standard compound in traditional Ayurvedic medicine, Eurycoma Longifolia (also known as Longjack and Tongkat Ali) is an aphrodisiac with clinical research that backs up its effectiveness.

This ingredient promotes increased production of testosterone by blocking the negative feedback cycle that happens when your body reaches peak testosterone levels. Once levels have reached their peak your body signals the pituitary gland and the hypothalamus. At this point, production of testosterone stops. One of the ways eurycoma works is by blocking this signal. This will allow testosterone production to keep going.

Besides boosting levels of testosterone, it has the added benefit of being anti-catabolic. For this reason, it helps keep the destructive catabolic stress hormone cortisol under control. This impressive herb can also increase sperm production and support erection quality. (8, 9)

Bioperine® Black Pepper Extract – 5 mg

The bottom line with any supplement is absorption. MTS ensures your body absorbs every bit of the testosterone enhancing power of Barracuda by capping off this formula with Bioperone black pepper. This ingredient improves the body’s absorption of any nutrients it is paired with, and has become a standard in many supplement formulas. It’s a great way to get the absolute most from MTS Barracuda! Stack Suggestions

Here are several Stacks centered around MTS Nutrition Barracuda.

Stack # 1

  • MTS Nutrition Barracuda
  • Hi-Tech Precision Protein – This is always my go-to protein because it is one of the very few currently available that specifically targets protein synthesis. How does it do that? By allowing the release of the anabolic amino acid leucine in the first stages of protein synthesis.
  • Gorilla Mind Gorilla Mode – Here is one of the best pre-workouts on the market and the Pre that launched the current practice of many pre-workouts using extremely generous dosing. As a great example of this, before Gorilla Mind Gorilla Mode came along, you never saw citrulline dosed any higher than 4, maybe 5, grams. Not anymore! Now, any serious brand doses it at 8 to 10 grams, thanks to Gorilla Mode’s aggressive dosing.
  • AllMax Nutrition Creatine – This is the best creatine formula on the market! Why, you might ask? The answer is because it features patented CreaSyn® micronized creatine monohydrate. You’re getting a full 5 grams of creatine in Gorilla Mode, so you can use AllMax Creatine to cover your off-days.
  • MTS Nutrition Immortal Elite Vitamin Pack – Here’s a very impressive multi to help you get all the important micronutrients your body needs for optimal health. There are 6 separate formulas in this product: 22 vitamins and minerals, probiotics, a nutrient support complex, antioxidants, a fish oil complex, and a greens complex. Wow!

Stack # 2

Same as above, but add:

Competitive Edge Labs MPC-185 – Here is a product that has the potential to turbocharge protein synthesis – DL-185 Dileucine Peptide. It is a clinically-studied anabolic peptide shown to not only increase protein synthesis, but also increase strength, and enhance recovery.

MTS Nutrition Machine Uptake – This product is a complete digestive enzyme and probiotic complex. It promotes complete digestion of your muscle building meals and shakes. After all, what’s the point if you don’t digest it?

Optional:

For serious gains:

Hi-Tech Halodrol – Leave it to Hi-Tech to make one of the best prohormone products on the market. Before using, make sure you understand prohormones, how to use them, and how to use post cycle therapy.

5% Nutrition Post Gear  – This is one of the best PCT formulas you can buy. As I mentioned, be sure you understand how to use prohormones and how to set up your PCT cycle. Don’t just rush in!

MTS Nutrition Tyrant – This is an interesting product that can be used as part of your PCT program. Tyrant inhibits estrogen, blocks cortisol and has the side benefit of enhancing cognitive function.

Summary

MTS Nutrition Barracuda is a very impressive formula – aren’t you glad you checked it out? And there’s more where that came from because we will be looking at MTS for 1-2 more products as part of my Supplement Spotlight – Brand Focus series.
