The goal of MTS was to provide a protein powder that fits with any diet goals you might have – and it backs that up with great flavors and great taste. With that said, it’s time to find out more, so let’s dive right in!

What Is MTS Nutrition Machine Whey?

MTS Nutrition Machine Whey is a superior whey protein powder that supplies 25 – 26 grams (depending on flavor) of a whey protein concentrate and whey protein isolate blend per serving. In addition, one serving contains 5 grams of BCAAs. Plus, it’s low fat, low total carbs, and low sugar – just like a great protein powder should be!

About Protein – A Quick Overview

As many of you most likely know, protein is the most important of the three macronutrients, especially for lifters. That’s because, after water and other components, your body is largely made of protein (roughly 20% of body weight), and it’s the main component of your muscles, skin, and organs.

One of the main components of protein are amino acids, and they are typically referred to as the “building blocks” of protein. There are 20 amino acids (called proteinogenic amino acids because they have a major role in the creation of protein). Furthermore, the body uses these aminos in different sequences for thousands of functions every day.

Using a protein powder such as Machine Whey has several benefits. These include:

  • Protein Supports Muscle Growth
  • It Keeps The Body in an Anabolic Environment Which Supports Protein Synthesis
  • Protein Supports Post-Workout Recovery
  • It Prevents The Body From Falling Into a Catabolic Environment
  • Protein Preserves Muscle During Periods of Restricted Calories (Fat Loss)
  • It Promotes Healthy Hair, Skin and Nails
  • Protein Supports a Healthy Immune System
  • Protein Powder is Convenient and Easy to Use
  • Adding a Protein Powder to Your Daily Nutritional Program Helps You Meet Your Daily Protein Requirements

As you can see, using a product like Machine Whey makes a lot of sense.

Let’s Look At The Ingredients

25 Servings per Container / Serving Size = 1 Scoop

Sodium80 mg

Carbohydrates – 2 Grams

Sugar – 2 Grams

Fiber – 0 Grams

Cholesterol – 7 mg

These numbers may vary depending on flavor.

Protein Blend Complex – Whey Concentrate and Whey Isolate – 25 Grams (some flavors have 26 Grams)

We know about the importance of protein, and there are various studies that support the benefits of whey protein.

Whey Protein Concentrate comes in different grades of quality that range from WPC-35 to WPC-80. What does that mean? The grades indicate how much protein is in a powder. For example, the higher the number, the more protein. Machine Whey uses whey concentrate WPC-80, the highest quality of whey concentrate. This means you get more protein per scoop. (1, 2, 3, 4)

Whey Protein Isolate is considered the highest quality form of whey protein. It’s basically a cleaner, more refined type of whey concentrate. That means that more carbs and fats have been removed from the whey. This in turn yields a powder that has a very high protein content (at least 90%). In addition, it is very low in carbs, lactose, and fats. That makes whey isolate a great option for any lifters with lactose digestibility problems. (1)

MTS Nutrition Machine Whey uses the perfect mix of whey concentrate and whey isolate. In so doing, MTS has created a protein powder that is high in protein, low in carbs and fats, and tastes absolutely delicious when compared to the whey concentrate-only powders.

How Do I Use It?

As per the label directions, mix 1 scoop with 6 ounces of cold water, milk, or your favorite beverage. Consume 1-3 shakes per day.

I always advise timing your protein intake evenly throughout the day. I am aware that some “experts” claim protein timing is a myth, that you can get all your protein in 1 or 2 meals and you’ll be fine. However, common sense says you’re going to be eating and drinking throughout your day, right? After all, how many people only eat 1 or 2 huge meals a day – and your meal or meals would have to be huge to get, say, 100 grams (give or take) of protein at a time.

Therefore, I suggest having a serving of protein every time you eat a meal. In addition, drink 1-3 shakes as part of in-between meal snacks, or when you just don’t have time to eat a meal due to a hectic lifestyle.

Stack Suggestions

Here are some Stacks centered around Machine Whey.

Stack # 1

  • MTS Nutrition Machine Whey
  • Gorilla Mind Gorilla Mode – Here’s one of the best pre-workouts currently available. Gorilla Mode is the pre-workout that seemed to come out of nowhere and force the industry to significantly increase their ingredient doses. Why? When Gorilla Mind Gorilla Mode first hit the supplement market, it hit it with unheard of (at the time) dosing. In fact, it caught the big boys completely off-guard and embarrassed them. Many veteran companies had no choice but to respond by increasing their own dosages!
  • AllMax Nutrition Creatine – This is an exceptional creatine formula that features patented micronized creatine monohydrate (CreaSyn™). Talk about purity – this formula boasts 99.9% purity!
  • AllMax Nutrition VITASTACK – This is one of the better multivitamin/mineral formulas currently on the market. Don’t overlook this, your gains depend on your health!

Stack # 2

All of the above but replace

  • Gorilla Mode with NutraBio Base – This pre-workout is an excellent example of the new “Core” type of pre, meaning a streamlined but still effective formula at a price that makes sense.

Add

  • NutraBio EAA Pure – Here’s a great intra-workout EAA formula featuring full disclosure labeling.

Stack # 3

Same as Stack # 2, but replace

  • NutraBio EAA Pure with NutraBio Leg Day – This exceptional product is the ideal training partner for your tough, intense workouts. This intra-workout features 25 grams of cluster dextrin, a fast-absorbing carbohydrate that avoids insulin spikes despite its absorption speed. There’s also an amino acid complex, a Leg Day Performance Matrix, an electrolyte complex, and an absorption enhancer.
  • Competitive Edge Labs MPC-185 – Add this to your program to turbocharge protein synthesis. This is DL-185 Dileucine Peptide, a clinically studied peptide that has been shown to bump up protein synthesis, improve strength and aid recovery.
