What Is NooHype Psychic Warfare?

NooHype Psychic Warfare is a high-stim pre-workout that features caffeine anhydrous, beta-alanine, eria jarensis, noopept, alpha yohimbine, and huperzine A, to name a few of the impressive ingredients in this powerful pre-workout. All of the ingredients in this explosive formula work together to promote energy, elevate focus, and enhance workout intensity.

Let’s Look At The Ingredients!

Serving Size – 1 Scoop / Servings per Container – 30

Warfare X Blend – 4173.2mg
Beta Alanine – 3200 mg

Beta-alanine has become the most common fatigue buffer. In fact, you will find it in the majority of pre-workouts. This compound is known to enhance endurance, which it does indirectly by increasing carnosine levels in the body. In fact, it’s actually carnosine that buffers lactic acid.

So what is carnosine?

Carnosine is a naturally occurring compound consisting of two amino acids: beta-alanine and L-histidine. It is found in high amounts in your muscles, brain, and other active tissues. Your body basically uses beta alanine to make carnosine. (1)

The Tingles and Flushing

Beta Alanine may be as well known for its temporary, harmless “tingling” and flushing effect. This side effect bothers some lifters to the point that they won’t use a pre-workout that contains the clinical dosing. Since it’s clinically dosed here, you will need to decide for yourself if you can handle it or would rather avoid it. Personally, I suggest dealing with it. It’s a short term effect that can be eased by drinking a glass or two of water (which you should be doing anyway). (2)

Caffeine Anhydrous – 400 mg

Here’s the first stim in Psychic Warfare – caffeine anhydrous! This is a crystalline powder with all the moisture removed, making it more concentrated. This type of caffeine is the most common found in pre-workouts and stand-alone energy products. The 400 mg in Psychic Warfare is for a single scoop!

So what is caffeine? It is a natural chemical that stimulates neurotransmitters in your brain. This excites your central nervous system, resulting in extreme energy and alertness. Caffeine can be found in more than 60 plants, such as coffee beans, kola nuts, guarana berries, cacao pods, and tea leaves. There are also several synthetic versions.

Caffeine is primarily broken down in the liver and has an average half-life of 1.5 to 9.5 hours. (3, 4, 5)

2-Aminoisoheptane – 200 mg

This ingredient is probably better known as DMHA, a powerful stimulant that promotes energy and focus. In addition, it increases drive and motivation. (6)

Ignitro™ Eria Jarensis – 200 mg

Here’s a branded version of eria jarensis, a potent plant-based stimulant. It also elevates mood and improves focus. This ingredient pairs well with caffeine anhydrous and huperzine A.

DiCaffeine Malate – 100 mg

This is a blend of caffeine and malic acid, providing about 75 mgs total caffeine. The malic acid causes the caffeine to absorb slower than regular caffeine. This effect helps decrease the jitters and the “crash” effect you can get from regular caffeine.

Synephrine – 50 mg

This ingredient is commonly known as bitter orange. Originally, synephrine was the ingredient that replaced ephedra way back in the day. It’s considered to have similar but more mild effects, such as energy, focus, appetite control, and thermogenesis. (7)

Noopept – 20 mg

Here’s a fast acting synthetic nootropic that enhances cognitive function. Noopept was originally developed in Russia in the 1990s. Clinical research has shown that noopept enhances cognitive function and provides neuroprotective benefits. (8, 9)

Alpha Yohimbine – 3 mg

Alpha yohimbine originates from rauwolfia, a genus of evergreens and shrubs. It blocks the alpha-2 adrenergic receptors, which in turn increases energy and elevates mood. (10)

Huperzine A 1% (Natural) – 200 mcg

Huperzine A comes from the toothed clubmoss plant of the species Huperzia serrata. Huperzia has been used in traditional Chinese herbal medicine for centuries.

So what does Huperzine A do?

Huperzine A supports learning and promotes memory by blocking an enzyme that breaks down acetylcholine, which is a chemical messenger in your body that is a neurotransmitter involved with your ability to learn.

In addition, Huperzine A enhances overall cognitive function due to the fact that it’s water-soluble. This means it can easily cross the blood-brain barrier, where it is then transported throughout the regions of the brain. (11, 12, 13)

How Do I Use It?

This is a very potent stim-based pre-workout. Unless you are experienced, do NOT just rush into using a full scoop. I can’t emphasize that enough. New users should begin by assessing their tolerance with a half scoop mixed with 10-12 ounces of cold water consumed 30 minutes before your workout.

Once your tolerance has been determined, you can move up to a full 1 scoop serving. Do not exceed the recommended serving size.
