Welcome to Protein Absorption Part 2! In Part 1, we covered what protein absorption is and we looked at new science regarding how much protein your body can use at one time. We also debunked a pet-peeve of mine – the misguided advertising claiming that protein gives you “big energy”. In this section, we’ll look at protein distribution and timing, how it affects your kidneys, and I will provide some quick nutrition and supplement tips. Ready? Then let’s go!
